Get busy living or get busy dying (Andy Dufresne, fictional character -Shawshank Redemption)

It's all about having a goal, a dream, an end. Mostly if the end is actually the beginning or the road in itself. Another important element is letting go of guilt. I don't mean like you just don't care about hurting others, I mean that when you actually regret saying or doing something, and you have sincerely apologized, then you just have to let go of remorse. I've done things for which the offended individuals have said (and meant) that they have forgiven me about even if I have not. I reckon it's not about self-righteousness, if it were then I wouldn't have hurt them in the first place. It's about not being able to see the next vine, and what do you do? You just hang onto the one that's got you surviving (as opposed to living), which by definition will only go as far and then swing you backwards, and then every time it swings forth again the length will be shorter, until one day it just stops. Your only shot is envisioning, and seeing that next vine, and the next, and the next... More importantly, you have to be able to see whatever is at the end of the vine-ride...

Strange paths are dealt with when blindness strikes with the strength of reality, or is it an illusion?

What a great scene, great actors, unbelievable music flowing through it.
